FAST Dual-Sync Distributor

The FAST Dual-Sync distributor outputs both an 8 tooth per cycle Hall Effect crank position signal and a

single Hall Effect cam position signal. The cam and crank sensor pickups inside the distributor are fixed

thus no adjustment is necessary. **NOTE** During testing, this distributor exhibited degraded ignition

timing accuracy. AEM recommends thoroughly testing any "dual sync" style distributor to ensure that it

offers acceptable ignition timing control.

1. Install distributor. (See Installing Distributor, in this document.) Final installed distributor should have

rotor aligned with terminal #1 with engine at TDC for cylinder #1.
